Klara Foundry was started by John Bartholomew. His experience managing people, priorities, handoffs and exceptions shaped a practical question: why do capable AI workers still leave so much coordination to the human?
Command Bridge grew from working through that problem. The aim is not simply more agent activity, but work that remains understandable and accountable when conditions change.
There's a story in the letters. Possibly several.
The mixed characters began with a playful visual choice. Later, a clean-room interpretation exercise generated theories about what the name might mean. Those theories are creative interpretations, not hidden original design instructions.
The mark combines Cyrillic and Greek letters, including π and two intentional spaces. Some readers see mathematical or philosophical connections; others see a name made from unexpected parts. We like leaving room for curiosity.
